Stone Soul Pottery

I make and design one of a kind sculptural vessels. I also make unique functional ware.

I became seriously interested in pottery through an adult education class at The Art League school in Alexandria, Virginia. From the moment my hands touched the clay I knew I had discovered something special. I stayed with the classes for eight years, usually studying year round and eventually becoming a teacher's assistant. Eventually I left the school to set up my own small studio behind our home in Alexandria, and finally at our home in Virginia Beach. My functional pieces are primarily inspired by nature, both outdoor and human. The Endless Wave collection of tumblers and bowls are my way of helping the environment by creating a product that is both beautiful and earth friendly.
