We are neighbors -- Fran and Barbara -- with five children each. Creating something that does not get eaten, dirty or destroyed in minutes is a rewarding thing for us; therapeutic as well. Our business began with Fran, who was creating jewelry for about two years before Barbara joined her. By Fran offering to help create a special birthday gift for Barbara's sister, Barbara got hooked and joined forces with Fran -- and Stoneberri was born. Why Stoneberri? Well, it took us a LONG time to come up with a name that we both liked and felt described our business. We use "stones" in our creations and "berri" is a combination of our last names. Seemed to work for us; hope you like it too. Most of our jewelry is limited or one-of-a-kind which, we feel, is a win-win for everyone. We don't get bored with mass producing the same item a zillion times and you get something that you can be pretty sure not too many people have. Nothing worse then passing your jewelry on the street. Although we enjoy creating something different every time, we also get a kick out of creating custom and personalized items for our customers. Creating exactly what THEY want is what we find truly rewarding.
