Sunshine is a non-profit organization that provides services to people with developmental disabilities in the Toledo, Ohio area and across northwest Ohio. It is hard to describe Sunshine with words. In order to understand, people just need to experience it for themselves. As a living, loving, working community, Sunshine embodies a cultural tradition which nurtures personal and spiritual growth among both individuals and staff. The spirit of mutuality is pervasive, as is a willingness to help in any way possible. We believe we are all defined by our relationships with the people we serve. At Sunshine, we understand that as we care for others, we are also being served and enriched by them.
