Established in October 2009, Sweet Ink is a full-service calligraphy studio offering quality hand and computer calligraphy, custom framing, & engraving services. Barbara G. Sweet is the owner and principal calligrapher of Sweet Ink. She has been a professional calligrapher in the Washington, D.C. area for more than 25 years, first with Tolley Studios and then with Hobbs & Tolley Studios. The late William Tolley called Barbara "one of the best and most artistic calligraphers I know." Sweet Ink specializes in government and association work, and is proud to count the White House and the U.S. Department of State among its clients. Sweet Ink is conveniently located in a charming Capitol Hill neighborhood just a few blocks from Eastern Market, and accepts major credit cards.
