Technological University of America (TUA) was founded in 2007 in Coconut Creek, Florida, United States of America (USA), by Eng. Roger Amuruz, a business man with great vision of higher education in Peru. The University traces its roots to the Universidad Technologica Del Peru (UTP), which was also founded by Eng. Roger Amuruz in 1997 in Lima, Peru. The organizing committee of the TUA since its initiation were led by Eng. Roger Amuruz Gallegos, Mgr Cesar Barrantes, current Executive Vice President and Dr. Kia Makki, current Provost and the Vice President for Academic Affairs of TUA, who have managed to successfully initiate the fate of the University.
