After that I was obsessed about learning more on how I could have one in my home. I then came across the RepRap project and learned how Dr. Adrian Bowyer of Bath university engineered a low cost 3D printer that could be assembled at home. I quickly research and collected what I needed to build myself a Mendel. It took me months of frustration to get my first Mendel running. There was so much to learn and so many problems to overcome.
