The Lotus Center For Self Discovery

The Lotus Center for Self Discovery, Inc. is a newly formed local 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the military community.

Using an evidenced-based program and practice as the foundation (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), The SOAR programs focus on psycho-education and experiential practices to help participants create a rich and meaningful life, while accepting the inevitable challenges and pain that goes with it. The programs are facilitated by trained professionals and take place in a safe and relaxing environment. Besides exploring new coping strategies and behaviors for increased psychological flexibility, health and resiliency, the programs include fun and restorative activities as well as opportunities to create new support networks and friendships in the community. We foster continued well-being and personal development through ongoing case management, support groups and referral services.
