Business description
The Quilting Hen has been thriving for over 13 years, thanks to the savvy business instincts and creative energy of owner/operator Diane Arganbright.
Journeying along highway 87 through North Central Montana, travelers pass through vistas of open prairie wheat fields bordered by beautiful mountain ranges and an endless blue sky. While keeping a sharp eye out for glimpses of coyotes, antelope, or pheasant, many are surprised by the sight of a bright yellow sign with a chicken pointing the way up a gravel road to the wheat farm that is home to the Quilting Hen. Those folks who venture our way are delighted by what they find. "I couldn't believe there was really a quilt store here!" is a frequent reaction, usually followed by "I can't believe there is such a great quilt store out here!". The Quilting Hen is a busy vibrant place where long-time customers and new faces are welcomed friends.
