The TAPS Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to educate and assist First Responders, Agencies, and Families on the benefits and resources available to them in the event of an injury or death in the line of duty. TAPS works on a National level throughout the Continental U.S. and works with both Federal and Non- Federal agencies. TAPS was founded by Amy Uribe, surviving daughter in law to fallen Hero Davis C. Uribe of the Phoenix Police Department, E.O.W. 5/10/05. Amy believes that in order to heal, what was given in kind to her family will be returned to those who have lost and those who continue to serve. TAPS works in harmony with established organizations such as COPS, The 100 Club, and other non-profit groups that assist fammilies of fallen First Responders.
