The Ultimate Rose was developed in the world's ultimate place for growing roses, South America. Grown in the enriched, volcanic soil of the Ecuadorian countryside, The Ultimate Rose begins its life journey at an elevation of more than 9,500 feet. As young plants, the giant roses thrive in the region's long days of extended sunlight and cool nights. They are grown in special environments using unique nutrients to achieve their size. Only the farm's most robust roses are tagged and left to grow taller and larger than the others. The roses are specially bred and grown to have very large heads (6.5 cm or greater) with very straight stems and "super-size" characteristics
