Started a year ago by a freelance journalist the West Old and New distributes 3,000 free copies every quarter. The magazine recently went online at issuu.com. The West will begin monthly online magazines this January retaining the quarterly hard copies. An Ebook version will be available of all the best stories for 2012. The West also publishes a small folklore book about homesteaders in Montana and fiction.
