Reviews for T&M Masonry

We received 5 different proposals to have our stairs, walkway and sidewalk redone. After reviewing the proposals, we decided to go with T&M Masonry because of price and Tom seemed to

be a very nice person to deal with at the time. A year later, we noticed that some of the pavers were coming out of place, and that a lot of water was collecting at the bottom of the steps. We did inform Tom that this was an issue and that he should build accordingly so that the water does not build at the bottom of the steps. We asked Tom to address both issues, he repaired the pavers but refused to repair the bottom of the stairs where the water was collecting, unless he was getting paid again.

During the same time we were also had other contractors come by to give us quotes on other jobs around the house. Out of curiosity, my wife showed the other contractors what our problem was with T&M’s work, all four contractors said never to use this contractor again, unforfunately for Tom, two of the contractors were shocked that T&M did such a poor and sloppy job.

As a living, I deal with contractors and vendors on a daily basis, and I fully understand there will be miscommunication and errors on the job. But what Tom told my wife, that he refused to make the repairs unless he was getting paid agian is debatable......and that it is not his job to offer options or suggestions is ridiculous for someone who owns the company.What is not debatable is his customer service.

What made it worse, he was yelling at my wife over the phone and was very condescending, unprofessional and very rude, which is totally unacceptable no matter what the reason is when dealing with your clients.

If you want the job done correctly the first vtime, and don’t want to be yelled at..stay away from this contractor.
