Back of Menu History: There are other music places south of Denver but The Toad is the only place doing what it's doing from original local bands to national acts. Established in 1985, The Toad Tavern used to be The Horny Toad. It was a friendly neighborhood bar. Three years ago, local musician Brice Hancock bought it and, along with booking guru Mark Sundermeier and the funnest, friendliest staff, they've turned it into a world class music venue on the weekends and the place to be for happy hour and all weeknights. In March 2011, the Hancocks built their very own kitchen and will begin providing the best sandwiches in Littleton, Co. What type of sandwiches - gourmet of course. Using Boar's Head brand meats they've created a menu that is like East Coast meets The Rockies.
