TraDet is a full service laboratory that provides analytical testing services to the coal, Marcellus Shale, and water treatment industries.

Our environmental services group provides field sampling services for regulatory permitted outfalls, background hydrologic evaluations plus activities such as operation of mine drainage treatment plants. Our coal services group provides sampling, sample processing and analytical laboratory services, including plant, train and barge sampling, preparation plant performance evaluation, and channel sample collection from underground mines. Our Marcellus Shale service group provides sampling and water analysis for municipalities, companies, and landowners. TraDet can sample and analyze well water, spring water, frac water, flowback water, and waste water. TraDet is also internationally recognized as a leader in thermal coal dryer design and optimization.
