Tradewinds Canvas Works is located in Port Townsend, Washington. A historic maritime center, Port Townsend is home to world-renowned boat builders and marine craftsmen. I founded Tradewinds to provide boaters quality marine canvas products at reasonable prices. I started Tradewinds in April of 2012. After working as a diesel marine technician since 2009, I made the switch to canvas. I was drawn to the craftsmanship involved. I love doing canvas because I am able to work with customers to create something not only functional, but aesthetically pleasing. I always strive to exceed the customer expectation of the project and deliver quality products. After a local apprenticeship, I attended a canvas school in Ohio to round out my training and polish my skills. I bought my own equipment, bui
