The establishment of the Trinidad and Tobago Interfaith Council in New York, also known and herein after referred to as TTIC.

TTIC, a non-profit organization is located at 1011Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11203 . Goals and Objectives: TTIC will serve in an educational and cultural capacity to bridge the geographical divide between Indo and Afro Trinidad and Tobago communities in the New York Diaspora. TTIC will establish forums to identify and address historical perceptions and grievances that have prevented closer ties between Indo and Afro Trinidad and Tobago communities. TTIC will promote and sponsor educational drives among the youths of these two larger ethnic groups in the form of essays, poetry, and all forms of artistic expression.
