Typeworks has been serving the San Francisco Bay area for typesetting, graphic design and service bureau (film output and pre-press production work) since 1989. Before that, the owner Cathy Stashuk, worked for Arabian Horse World Magazine for 20 years beginning as typesetter, then ad designer and finishing up her tenure as Art Director. She then left to start her own business and has been doing work in this industry now for 43 years. Her experience encompasses all types of graphic design, typesetting and typography having learned the craft using proprietary equipment from Linotronic, which then became Linotronic-Hell. When Postscript first came out, she was the first to have a L-100 Linotronic imagesetter in the East Bay. Her clients vary from Fortune-500 companies to family-owned busines
