Recently retired. Turned 65. My first visit was with Mrs. Mary Jones aka Ma. Ma was driving her blue Ford falcon,1963 or so. We lived 4 or 5 blocks away on 9th&J St. My sister still lives there.
Later I continued to eat at The Arcata Burger Bar. Then in Arcara Union High School.I worked across the street for Al Lorenzo's She'll. The staff were like extended family & not a skinny Lynne in the bunch. First sign of a great Burger joint. Through the years. Every Burger I've eaten only tries to compare
The fries deserve to be a food group all it's own w/mayo on the side(upon request),for dipping. Handmade shakes in the aluminum cup on a light green & cream colored mixer, while you watched. Danny Taylor-now Phoenix,AZ. I dream of how to make that yellow sauce with the red onions.
