Vance Hill Bird Observatory and Research Outpost

Contacts
Business description
Providing a remote outpost for the study of Ornithology. Located next to the Lake Memphremagog migration flyway.
Lots of Northern birds in this zone. Including picoides tridactylus, the three toed woodpecker and black-backed woodpecker. Also seen are rare Siskins, Swainson's Thrush and Evening Grosbeaks. The outpost is located within a dense forest with ponds and streams, next to a farmers over grown field. Plenty of apple trees. Many types of berries and shrubs. We are also researching Catamount cats and the new Wolfdog. We have had reports of cats and wolfs feeding on the local wintering deer herds of last winter.
