I specialize in working with children and teenagers who are struggling with a variety of issues, including the following: * Self-esteem * Family relationships * Sadness * Anger * Loss of a loved one * School difficulties * Impulsiveness * Social skills * Divorce * Adoption I use a Play Therapy approach with my younger clients, and with teenagers, I incorporate elements of play along with discussion, role play and other activities of interest to the client. Family involvement is critical, and family members are sometimes included in sessions as appropriate. When not directly involved in sessions, caregivers are provided with information necessary to support their child at home.
