The Visiting Vet Service has catered to a small clientele and their pets who receive full service personal and individual vet care in a relaxed home setting. There is an emphasis on geriatric, disabled, and end of life care for pets. Assessment of older dogs and cats in their home gives a realistic view of how they are doing and what they need to maintain a good quality of life. Even minor changes in support, treatments, and physical accommodations may make a big difference for many pets. As animals near the end of their lives we provide families and their pets with comfort, palliative therapy, and when appropriate, euthanasia in their own homes. The in-home euthanasia service allows families to say good bye to their pets in the peaceful comfort of their own home.
