R. K Industries trading as Waterloov has been manufacturing gutter protection products since 1989. The double row louvered gutter cover product, WaterloovÆ, was invented, developed and brought to market in Red Bank, NJ. The first patent was granted to Robert Carey in the early 80's. The preferred embodiment of the original patent was for an all-in-one product and contained provisions for it to be manufactured in different components which allows existing gutters to become part of the invention. In the early 90's the product transformed into a gutter cover that attaches to existing gutters and also integrates with the roofing. to make it an enclosed unit. Improvement patents were granted to Richard Kuhns in the early 90's and the product was named the WaterloovÆ Gutter Protection System--n
