My friend has diabetes which mainly affects her feet. She came to this facility to get diabetic shoes as she was having difficulty walking. After 8 tries she has finally given up and is seeking help elsewhere. The initial problem which brought her back 7 times was wrong sizing of the shoes. They were either too small, too large or too narrow. At one appointment the doctor even told her basically that she didn't know her own shoe size. So after finally convincing the doctor of the size she needed she ordered her shoes, went to the front desk and got an appointment for 2 weeks later to pick up the shoes. Note: The girl at the front desk wrote the date on the card for that two week appointment. When we got there today (two weeks later and the date that was on the appointment card) she was told that she was not on the schedule, but the doctor would try to see her. Then they called her up and said that they didn't make the appointmen, the shoe place made the appointment, the shoes were not there and she would have to come back in a week. When she showed them her appointment card all they said was "that was a mistake." This office staff is inept and should be reprimanded. Customer service is terrible. My friend doesn't drive but I am more than willing to take her because she can't walk very well. When I look around at the waiting room most of the folk there are quite elderly and have to wait on a van to take them and bring them. This is no way to be treating patients. Let alone the office staff those fitting her shoes I don't think had a clue what they were doing as evidenced by the number of times they got it wrong. My friend's own foot doctor told her that she wouldn't recommend her going there because of their bad reputation. so, today she will be calling her foot doctor to find a better qualified place. I would not recommend this facility. they need to have an overhaul of their employees.
