Whaley Studios located in the hillcrest district of San Diego is a cutting edge learning center for jewelers, metalsmiths and metal arts enthusiasts

Jay Whaley and an expanding line-up of 'best in class' guest instructors, including Kate McKinnon, Michael David Sturlin, Andy Cooperman, Nancy Megan Corwin, Loren Damewood and others will be teaching all phases of jewelry and the metal arts trades. Classes typically include creating designs by fabrication, and/or wax casting, metal clay, wireworking, or other unique skill sets specific to the instructor. For Jay's classes, the use of hand and powered tools, torches and casting equipment is included. All metals to be silver or gold, but we are also equipped for platinum. All tools are provided, there will also be saw blades, silver and solders for sale.
