WinPower Energy set it's goal to design and build offshore wind farms.

Wind energy is the most cost effective renewable energy world wide. Yet presently wind power turbines provide less than 5% of the total power used in California. This is due to inherent problems in land based wind parks. Inconsistent winds, land wind turbine size limitations and restrictions of wind turbine placement due to environmental impact are just some of the challenges that offshore wind parks avoid. Our team of engineers and scientists has over 70 years of experience in wind turbines, energy systems, offshore platforms, environmental vibration dampening techniques and Structural Health Management (SHM). This outs us in a unique position to design floating wind farms that are strong, efficient and provide little impact to the surrounding ecosystems.
