Wm. F. Bane Company was founded in 1962 as a general cleaning service company in Indianapolis, Indiana. By 1969, the Bane family had concentrated on carpet cleaning as its primary business. Various cleaning methods were available, but our technicians were not satisfied with the results and we incorporated what was then called "steam cleaning." The results from this cleaning method were superior to all the other methods. The Bane family and their employees recognized this good system could be improved to become an "excellent" system and we developed our own unique variation in 1969. Over the years, many more improvements were made not only to the equipment but also to the cleaning agents used.
