In 1979, George Elliott was a homebuilder who wanted better quality materials, so he began to stock his own products for his growing business. Soon, colleagues saw what George had in his own personal inventory and started to ask if they could buy from him. Eventually, that evolved into a retail lumber business, serving not only the needs of local contractors, but the community. In 1998, we joined True Value, which gave us greater access to a bigger inventory of products at more competitive prices.
