WSVM is a radio station located in Valdese, NC since 1961. Owned & Operated by Bert Lindsay, WSVM plays classic hits of the 60s, 70s & 80s.

Operated since 1961 in the eastern Burke County town of Valdese NC, WSVM is now under the ownership of radio broadcasting veteran Bert Lindsay. Beginning in radio in 1984, Bert left broadcasting in the fall of 2000, but re-entered the industry as a part-time morning man in May of 2011. By the summer of 2012, consequences had Bert buying WSVM in an effort to keep local, independent radio on the air. The sale was official as of September 2012. Bert acts as owner, General Manager and morning show host during the weekdays. Weekday programming is primarily the Classic Hits format. Weekend programming features a variety of music and specialty shows as well as religious programming on Sundays. Local Sports includes High School Football and Hickory Crawdads Minor League Baseball.
