Back to Basic Couture, LLC was conceived out of a need for a classic women's trouser by its founder, Lazelle Whitworth. As a working woman, she wanted a pair of pants that fits comfortably without compromising style. So, she shopped online and all the department stores near her home in Atlanta. And all she found were trendy trousers that are made for teenagers. For months on, the search for this elusive trouser came to an end, so she thought. In a very affluent store, she found that pair of pants that compliments her womanly figure. However, as nice and perfect as it was, the trouser was way too expensive for a working class woman like herself. That's when she decided to design and create women's office attires that fits comfortably, stylish, and luxurious albeit affordable.
