Antebellum House Museum and Special Event Venue
LaGrange Woman's Club Charitable Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization, owns and operates this 1855 home built by Senator Benjamin H. Hill. It has been called the finest example of Greek Revival architecture in Georgia and is furnished in period furniture. Original woodwork - including elaborate cornices and heart pine flooring - is seen throughout. Bellevue is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Historic Landmark. The house is open for guided tours10 AM to 12 Noon and 2 PM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, except holidays, for a moderate entry fee. AAA and group rates. Rooms may also be rented for meetings and parties of up to 200 people.
