The asymmetrical thread reduces the needed torque when inserting the screw and prevents the screw from backing out. But that's not the only benefit or difference when comparing ASSY Log & Timber Screws to most other log Screws, Lag Screws, or Timber Screws.Each screw if fitted with the patented AW-Drive that offers the most comfortable, safest, and most solid screw bit for any professional. The AW-Drive has 6 cylindrical power application points for higher power transmission and the AW-Bit and AW-Drive are both tapered for excellent contact with out tumbling, allowing for increased torque.
