A 1938 Statement from Murle Perry, Designer of the Perry Products Appliances. "In 1938 I had a permanent colostomy. It was this operation that prompted me to design a colostomy cup for my own personal use. The result was a new kind of cup - one that provided not only the necessary protection, but also convenience and comfort. It was at my doctors' request that I started the manufacture of the Perry Colostomy Cup. Experience has proven that no one model or size will serve all patients alike. It is for this reason that Perry Products are made in several models and sizes - each designed for a specific use. It is my greatest ambition to furnish colostomy and ileostomy patients with a superior product that will give the utmost in comfort, sanitation, service, convenience and protection."
