Pug Works Custom Cameras, Inc, was born when a veteran technical investigator was approached by Georgia Power to develop a solution to their copper theft problems. Georgia Power had spent thousands of dollars on traditional security cameras which had failed to stop even one theft. Shortly after, our unique Internet Protocol camera system was developed and put into action. Eight hours after being deployed in the field, the camera alerted on a copper thief who was arrested on the spot. Impressed by the results, Georgia Power placed a second camera, which facilitated the arrest of a copper thief, ten minutes after it was installed. The success of the camera system spread, and soon Pug Works Custom Cameras was protecting the assets of public utility companies throughout the Southeast.
