Tech Talent South - Coding Courses for Students of Different Ages

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Tech Talent South (TTS) offers a variety of programs in the areas of coding, programming, and web application development. With courses for adults, youth, and children, Tech Talent South hopes to develop technological talent in the Southeast of the United States, giving the region the capacity to compete with areas like Silicon Valley and New York.Since October 2013, the organization has been pursuing this goal one class at a time. Among the current offerings at TTS is the course, Introduction to Game Development, which extends over two weekends. Furthermore, Tech Talent has created coding camps for youth, and college students, in addition to full-time and part-time coding courses for adults.TTS has also launched a free after-school coding program called Code Thursdays at its Charlotte location. The program provides one-on-one coding instruction to students between the ages of nine years and 14 years. Focused on equipping creative, motivated people with the technological capacity to solve real-world problems, TTS teaches beginning-level coding and web development skills to students young and old, teachers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and others.
