Set atop McKown Hill at the highest point in town, this 19th-century sea captain’s home is joined by two classic summer guesthouses and offers stylish, modern accommodations and amenities just steps from a charming coastal village you won’t soon forget. Water views greet you in every direction – sunrise and the famous footbridge across inner harbor to the east, the lighthouses and islands and out to sea to the south, and the western sunset. Our front lawn provides a grandstand seat to observe harbor activity throughout the day and the lights of the sky at night.Start your day with a delicious full breakfast prepared to order. Before the main course is served, guests can help themselves to great locally roasted coffee, tea, fresh fruit, tasty homemade granola, yogurt, baked goods, cereals, juices and much more. Each morning we offer a composed dish cooked to order featuring produce from our vegetable and herb gardens and offerings from the local farmers market. Lobster, locally harvested mushrooms, fingerling potatoes and cheeses are just a few of the regions freshest ingredients that have been enjoyed by our guests.
