James Z Trimm provides only the finest restoration. The preservation of each piece is paramount. A detailed evaluation is made and estimate of repair is always provided in advance of all work. Restoration does not mean "Like New" rather it is an attempt to return an item to as close to its original condition as possible depending on the items current state. Some items should not be restored but rather preserved, each item is unique therefore requiring a different plan of action as best prescribed for the piece. Every item is treated as if it were the only one in the shop. Customers are charged for materials and time. I specialize in art restoration and document restoration, other items may be considered on an individual basis.
